Supply partnersVirgin Oil & Virgin Shipping
The companies behind PetrA’s products and marine services: an onshore refinery at Montagne Blanche and a marine operations arm in Port Louis.
Recovery, refining & biofuel blending
Virgin Oil operates an integrated recovery, refining and biofuel-blending facility at Montagne Blanche. Established in 2005 and operational since 2012 under its founder, Mr Jayesh Ajwani, the company converts suitable used oils and contaminated petroleum feedstocks into reusable products for local and international markets.
Its portfolio includes SN 150 and SN 500 base oils, LSFO 200 cSt and VLSFO 180 cSt. Since August 2026, it has also manufactured B30 VLSFO and B30 LSMGO. Premium lubricants for marine, industrial and automotive applications are under development.

Collection, recycling & refining
Used oils & feedstocks
Used lubricating oil from service stations, garages and industrial operations across Mauritius; used cooking oil from hotels, restaurants and approved collection points; contaminated products from energy and petroleum operators; and marine sludge collected aboard MT VIRGIN 1.
Contaminated ATF, diesel & gasoil
Collected for assessment and suitable treatment. Recoverable hydrocarbons are directed to refining; materials unsuitable for recovery receive further treatment or authorised disposal.
Recycling & refining
Feedstocks are treated to remove water, dirt and metal particles, then refined into base oils and low-sulphur fuels. Controlled blending produces B30 VLSFO and B30 LSMGO.
