As an accredited agent of Virgin Oil Company (Mauritius) Ltd, PetrA arranges debunkering and deslopping at quayside and anchorage in Mauritius, using specialised transfer equipment and handling procedures suited to each operation.
Through Virgin Shipping Company Ltd, PetrA has access to MT VIRGIN 1, a double-hull motor tanker. Collected materials go to Virgin Oil’s refinery for assessment, treatment and recovery.

From waste oil to marketable product
Collect
Used lubricating oil, used cooking oil, contaminated petroleum products and marine sludge are collected on land and from vessels.
Recover & refine
At Montagne Blanche, impurities such as water, dirt and metal particles are removed before refining into base oils and low-sulphur fuels, and controlled B30 blending.
Supply
PetrA markets the products internationally and for marine bunkering, assessed against the agreed specification before supply.
